Wow take out the cats and get an exhaust on that thing, 600whp easy in a turbo engine.

Is that a baseline pull yielding 473whp (577 bhp)? MB has been known for understating their hp numbers but 577bhp stock on a 518bhp-rated engine seems unreal, especially since this is not a PP car according to the dragtimes entry. The gains from the tune, on the other hand, is very impressive.

Ugh.... Jim, Why did you post this? And more importantly why do hillbillies always win the powerball?

Jimbo, are you on Facebook? I follow drag times and they posted this a few days ago. I also follow dupont registry and they post all of the latest and greatest.

No wonder it beats the new M5 in acceleration. MB is not being very honest with the output if the dyno is accurate.

Have to agree, the figures don't add up, these 63 tt's are Demon fast stock. I have a huge a$$ CL63TT and she sits with a Bentley Continental Supersports.

The crazy thing is just think this is the outcome with it stock, now imagine this run with it all jacked up with some tuning and exhaust.

click

Yup, saw it too. Wonder if the intake and exhaust manifolds interchangeable with our car?

I'm not surprised at all! After riding around in a new S63 with the P package(563HP) I was shatting bricks. That thing was a complete beast.

Wait two years until the engine reliable, doesn't cook the spark packs, looses the 63 nomenclature and the turbo lag.

I haven't wanted a car so badly in such a long time...the new E63 is seriously one of my favorite cars EVER! And with this engine...it's just perfect!

5 years from now I'll buy one for $30K.

V12-Biturbo
Yes these new biturbo motors are highly underrated w/plenty of room for tuning. For comparo my SL after ECU/TCU/Dwn Pipes/hi-flo cats/3" straight pipes/IC res tank/CAI/ on 91 pump made 565/700
Then w/reservoir full of ice & 100+ octane made 633/800+ (COMPLETELY STOCK she made 440/500 used SAME Dyno during all modding process)

The same mods on the new 63 should make nice power but still a lot less TQ vs the old v12tt's ie between 75-175 more rwtq on v12tt

(I'll bet RENNtech didn't use CA 91 pump to garner those #'s Turbo apps love race gas)

I wonder if the 7 speed may be a factor on TQ?

Going by psi (there isn't 10 odd psi left on table on Stock tune to make a 96 rwp gain on ECU Only) it wouldn't be the 1st time I've seen a tuner use race gas & state otherwise
