Anyone replaced their cams themself?

Hi guys got a few questions for anyone who replaced their own cams on a E63?

1- do i need the tool that looks like a plate that does in the front?
2- how do i keep tension on the adjuster?
Got 2 tools, a kind of straight edge and a M shapped tool .

I DO NOT NEED TO KNOW HOW HARD IT IS
I DO NOT NEED TO BE TOLD TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER

Thanks

Didn't you post this in the C63 section too?

I know you don't want to take it to the dealer, but just a word of advice.

After you put the cams back in you need to time them.
If timing is not done properly, your gonna start bending valves when your pistons hit top dead center.

You can ask a Mercedes tech, they will tell you the exact tools you need.
