Or yank all that floaty air & rubber bladder joy and do the coil over conversion. Also personal preference, but I never have my car in anything but Sport 1 & 2....

I ran like that before I lowered my car. Now that it's lowered I'm happy that A: I don't have P30 because it would be too stiff and B: I can put her in comfort mode along rougher roads.

citylightva,
JLMotoring now has that same lip, in Carbon Fiber. I think that it would look great on my car, due to the color.
It would definitely look outstanding on a white E63.
And price can't be beat! ![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)

If you replace your airmatic suspension, with steel coilovers. Your airmatics computer can be disabled by turned it off with Star Diagnostic System (SDS). You just need to find a shop that has Star. If not the computer will be looking for signals from the struts and airsprings, thereby causing error codes to appear. Shutting this off, will not only kill the computer but the air compressor as well.

I actually like the airmatic. There are times I love the comfort settings and others when I love sport2. Now that I have a warranty I don't worry about it failing.

I know what you mean, I think that fact that I can lift the nose to negotiate speed bumps.

As has been noted before, cam adjusters are another glitch you want to stay on top of. I think mine are going south, so it's going in to the shop on Wednesday for a little vacation. I'll report back with the damage in a week. You can tell by the crazy clatter at start up every now and then that sounds like your whole valvetrain is whooping on each other in the Octagon.!! It's only a second or two. I believe this is the only known cause for an M156 engine failure. Besides stupidity or ignorance I guess

So honestly, what's more important.. miles or cost? (yes I realize that's a relative question)
I see a 07 E63 With 44K miles for 38,000
Locally there's a 05 E55 with 56K miles for 31,000
7,000 more for an E63 seems like the better deal yes?

Most would tell you yes, but again it's a matter of what you are looking for. I personally would have said no.
