LOL, I also burst into laughter at this one!
love the flames on the left, LOL!
people here in the triangle drive like such lame'o's.....
there is no minimum speed limit here so the speeds are all over the place, despite the
speed around here to be 65.....it isn't done....
I usually use CC.....and stay around 10 or 11 over that.....
but it's bonkers: some people are more concerned with their social life
then their OWN life as well as the lives of others out there.....
it's simply mind boggling..........

Long Island- People usually do like 85 in the left lane, despite the posted speed limit of 55. Usually closer to Manhattan theres always traffic so ur usally stuck behind some *******, but further east theres no traffic and 85 is the norm.
I was on the Jersey Turnpike last week and i was surprised to be doing 85 in the left lane and getting passed by people on the right! 90 flat out in a 55 sounds a little crazy...
I do love the tight and twisty Northern State...no problemo doing 85 with lots of curves and short entrance ramps!!

Minimum of 10 over for me. Usually on the highway I'll go 15 over. Whatever gets me driving past everyone else. My goal in life is to pass everyone on the road without getting pulled or killed.

Others behind me proceed to do exactly the same thing and the lady still didn't move over! PASSING LANE on the NJ TURNPIKE is for PASSING ONLY! Please don't stay in that lane doing the speed limit and/or below it. You're holding up miles of traffic.

Probably by me... I've been passing people on the right of the left lane on the NJ Turnpike at 90 mph+ lately often. Stupid passing lane hoggers... I've been held up for miles one time by a lady in a Toyota Prius (go figure). With people behind me held for miles and the lady never moved over... Once I wasn't boxed in, I sped to the right lane, slowed, stared at her with her being completely oblivious and then I floored it and went to the fast lane aggressively in front of her. Gets me pissed off everytime.

Used to live in Montgomery county MD until I lost my license and moved to Florida. Most agressive traffic enforcement I've ever experienced.

Hey Speedpeddler-
You got that right about Montgomery County. I grew up just outside of DC in Silver Spring and the cops in MC don't play. Still don't. Plus Virginia won't allow detection devices. Ballbusters that is for sure.
I certainly contributed my fair share of revenue to Montgomery County.
And they love pulling over fast cars. Makes their day. I spend more time looking in my mirros going around the beltway than looking through the windshield !!!

Most people seem to stick to 65-70 around here, but a lot of that is due to heavy traffic and the few *******s that have to go below the speed limit while next to each other. When I head up to the Sac area (on either 80 or 5) people generally go faster and will cruise at 75+. I normally go 75-80 and am passing people pretty good (while jumping between lanes) on 680 and 4.
I was on 680N years ago coming back from Fremont and traffic was going 95+. I had my LS1 Z28 at the time and was running 110 and barely passing a lot of the people in the number 2 lane. That's the only time I've had that happen around here. We made it from Fry's in Fremont to Lafayette in a little over 20 minutes.
