Well...didn't do it either. Just couldn't hook. But it was a BLAST!

Beat 2 cobras, 1 neon srt/4, camaro 585 (12.806), g8, new 5.0.
No one was anywhere near me though honestly. It was laughable actually...and I was severly disappointed. Just couldn't hook up for the life of me.
I have videos of them all but spanking that beast of a camaro was my favorite. People were swarming the car.

He he...uploading the vids now. My launches are SOOOOOOO awful...I'm embarassed.
I swear... I TRIED not to just stomp on it...but I couldn't help it. Even the spectators who came over were like, "Dude...you were just spinning the first 100 yds".

the run against the Camero was sick - nice launch.
I think it's funny that you were racing mustangs and Camero's and all you can hear is the exhaust on your E55 - your cutouts sound great.

So I am running the 1/4 mile for my first time ever tomorrow. I have SERIOUS traction issues. Running Nitto Invo tires. The plan is to put suspension in sport mode, raise car to highest suspension settings, turn off traction control, and ease into throttle as best as possible off the line. Any other suggestions besides drag radials? The car is very difficult to launch off the line...
