Tried by a Maserati......
I just finish a golf tournament and was heading back to the office to clock out when a Maserati pulled up next to me at a stop light. A Grand Cabrio Sport.
It was very nice looking and I didn't think it would do what it did. But when the light turned green, that ***** %%%%er gunned it.
Now, like I said before, I drive in M mode when I'm coming from my tournaments. And I am glad I do.
This thing sounded awesome. I did not know that they sounded like that at WOT. To bad he got ate up
He got the jump on me, but since I was already set he did not get a big jump. He may have gotten three car Lents on me, but I closed that quick. In second I was at his rear and in third I was beside him, then passing him. I got two car lengths on him before he gave up.
I thought he would be cool about it since he started it, but he would not even look at me when we stopped. So I kind of laughed at him when he drove by. You would think some people would be cool about things, especially when they start it, but he was kind of mad. So I turned and went on my way.
Even funnier, a new Lightly moded Mustang GT ( headers and exhaust) tried me on my way home. I guess he didn't know what AMG meant, but he got walked in three different runs. But he was cool. He pulled up and said " that thing is bad ***" and then took off. I told him thanks and went on my way.
What a crazy night. I HAD FUN!!!!

Nice kill. They do sound great don't they. My boss has a Quattroportte and SvtAmg, he fits your characterization of the typical driver perfectly. He is pretty cool about getting smoked by my SL all the time though. The first time we had a go, he tried to pull a hole shot on me from a dead stop. It was ugly for him and to make it worse my car just seemed to hook like crazy for some reason.

Masers sound amazing, look amazing , feel special to drive, but are turds compared to AMG's for acceleration. They do play an amazing trick on you making you think you are faster than you are, hence this guy actually trying a run...

Nice kill...AMG ownage! I dusted a guy in a late year 996 tonight from a 40mph roll up to about 130mph. He kept up at first, but after we reached about 85mph, I started pulling away and put about 3 cars on him before I threw the anchor. This car screams for being stock with only BMC air filters. Needs better brakes, though...the triple digit panic stops are a little scary. I love this car more each day I drive it. Completely different animal from my 02 E55.

My other car is a Maserati. It feels fast (by the noise, the cars feedback, throttle response, gearbox), but is no E55.

hey redbulljnky, I too live in Pines and about a year ago i also got tried by a Maserati GT, CAR SOUNDED MEAN AS HELL! But the noise didnt help him at all!! hahaha, before I knew it i was goin 140 down Pines!! I know thats stupid and I never drive that recklessly but got caught up in the moment I guess.
On a side note Ive seen both the cars in your sig. turn into Grand Palms before lol! I live Silver Lakes so hit me up man ok?
