E55 W211 Check Engine Light
Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and hope that someone may be able to help me. I bought an '05 E55 a few months ago and recently noticed it was leaking oil. Had a mechanic look at it and he said the valve cover gaskets needed to be replaced. He replaced them and it doesn't leak oil anymore but now the check engine light comes on and apparently it is a code for the Throttle Body. Has anyone experienced this before? Could oil have leaked onto the throttle body and damaged a sensor or something?
Thanks
Thanks

Intake Pressure Sensor
So I had someone at the MB dealership look at the car and they say its the Intake pressure sensor which I believe is the same as the MAP (manifold absolute sensor) from what I could find online. The guy is a friend of a friend and says the part will run around 90 bucks and the labor will be 600 since the supercharger has to be removed in order to replace the sensor. Is this typical cost?

Never heard of that before. They are probably doing map and yes it is a SUPER pain. Not supercharger off pain though. If not shoot us a part number we can look it up. This has dealer rape smell all over it.

What was the CEL code? Check the hardline on the left Side of the engine that goes into the supercharger, its held down by the last bolt on the valve cover. Very common mistake people make when replacing the valve cover gaskets is that hard line pops off and throws a CEL.
