KLEEMANN E55 header special pricing!

I don't know why this turned into an MBH thread. Kleemann headers are great for the price. I picked up over 38whp and 35wtq on my car by just adding the headers and adjusting the tune.
Am I leaving 5-10hp on the table? Possibly, but I can easily triple that lost hp buying new mods with the money I saved by going with Kleemanns.

Customer service is A++. Kleemann has been around for a while and they're here to stay. To be 100% honest, when I received my headers and got a chance to examine them, and hold them, I literally felt like I just robbed someone. I almost felt guilty paying under $1K for such an insane product.

thinking of adding Vibrant Stainless TURBO Flex Coupling w/ Interlock Liner - but what size would mate up best between the Kleeman headers and the OEM exhaust (2ndary cats) ?

Not sure about the Kleeman side … stock exhaust is funny diameter at 2.75" if memory serves. Others can chime in … I went with 3" since headers I tried before had 3" out. It would not be very smart for Kleeman to go less than 2.75" outlet.

I measured the Kleemans and they're 2.75" ID at the end of the collector, but 2.5" at the end of the extension so I'm assuming a 2.5" flex would work? how long? 4" or 6" to minimize tweaking?
updated: measurements shrink down to 2.5"

does any one know of a place to get an advertised price that isn't the insane one on kleemans website? I found a set of used ones that a pretty beat up with cracked welds im hoping to get for like 200 bucks, but hes asking 1550 for them and thinks they sell for over 3g's new? so id like to include a link in the reality check email I send him. thanks in advance

^ Bro those headers are worthless. Don't put them on your car if he gives them to you. From the 5 seconds of research I did I concluded that it's a chop shop and he doesn't know that those NIB sell for a G. Refer to post "01-01-2014, 04:19 PM"
In all fairness, if I stumbled across those exact headers I would Google them and find links to where they sell for $3K. Asking $1550 would seem reasonable. Also, someone asking $1550 for worthless headers is not going to take $200 for them. He is looking for a sucker who will gladly pay him his $1550. With all due respect. You see what I did there? Now I can say anything I want.

I think they are. Fix the welds like I said and open them up. Blast them, and have them receramic coated! Awesome set of headers for 4-500 if you do most of it your self

I have secondaries deleted, an Xpipe in their place, resonator deleted and C63 mufflers. Car is loud enough right now and I really don't want it louder. Kleemanns deleted the primaries as well so I am afraid it might be way too loud for my taste.
Does anybody have Klees on a deleted secondaries/deleted resonator car?
Also, would you lose much torque with aftermarket headers? I don't want that stop light low end grunt to go away as that's the best part about the car. Thank you for input.

Just ordered mine from Cory.
My current exhaust setup is stock headers->200cell cats->no secondaries->no resonator->super sprint mufflers.
Can't wait to install the headers and hear the exhaust sound!

Resonator delete won't add volume, just a slightly deeper rumble/throaty sound. In order to add volume, you need to delete the secondaries/primaries or both.
If you do Kleemans, leave the secondaries, you will add a nice bit more, nothing crazy, though, especially if your mufflers are stock. Swap with C63 the noise will go up substantially. The C63 mufflers are like amps, they just increase the sound because of the design of the muffler itself.
To give some perspective, I have my secondaries deleted (straight pipes with mandrel bends in their place), deleted resonator with straight pipes from there into the C63 mufflers. Cruising, it is subtle. Until you go 1/2 throttle or WOT, it's fairly quiet...but when you open her up, the car gets LOUD. And cold starts sound brutal, wake-up-neighbor type brutal. The deleted secondaries really increase noise dB level.
For your setup, I would do:
Kleemanns (deleted primaries)
Deleted resonator
C63 mufflers
It would sound PERFECT. The stock mufflers are just too quiet.

I went to a spot on Lincoln in Santa Monica. The guys did a fantastic job and the price was unbeatable. It's in a strip mall across the street from McDonalds. Benzworks is great too. For me it was a distance thing.

Thanks for the info guys, I just don't want loud since I have kids and neighbors that might get pissed.
One more thing, is there any increase in fumes if I leave the secondary cats on?
My friends BMW 335i with deleted cats is unbearable, and again with kids i would not want that.
Thanks
