Anyone running slicks on their E55?
I am looking at Hoosier R6s for my E55. Want to see if anyone runs them on all 4 corners, and what experience(s) you have with them.

What about the nitro nt05 street tire? If it rains you'll still get home, they stick like glue. My only complaints were that they were loud as he'll and wore out fairly quickly, but they would still proly be better than the hoosiers on both those fronts...

I drove yesterday with the M/T's to light them up a few times and test my launches on the street, I was completely annoyed. The amount of dirt and gravel picked up and smacking my rear was amazing. Then again these are full slicks.

LoL yeah, they tend to pick up every single little stone and speck of dirt. I am currently running PS2s, and when you get them hot enough, they do the same thing... I am no longer allowed to lead the pack of cars....

I am considering the Pirelli Slicks as well as Hoosier R6s. Three other options that people have thrown into the mix are Toyo R888, Nitto NT01, and Falken Azenis RT615.
Rain really is not an issue. I can park the E55 and drive something else when the weather is sour....

First, these are not XL load rated. That has made me worried about using them even just for track use.
Hankook Rs-3 are available XL rated and are very sticky, although not in the range of a true track tire like the R6. They did take off 0.3s from my 0-60.

Pulled the trigger on some slicks.... O.o
Should be here before the end of the week! Will hopefully have some time to run them before the weather goes to hell....
