in car video of the E55 running! She did 176!

The m5 couldn't break 166 even though she was 30whp stronger then when she ran 170, the c63 ran 162.

nope, not at all. I think brooke is running more hp then that!

Built engine, heads, cams, 200mm pulley, and the rest of all the stuff that typically goes with. Car pulls like mad

It is going under the knife for a MAJOR change quite soon, and we are shooting for some huge numbers for the march mile event. We are trying to get her out to the drags very soon before the change so that should be "interesting"

I'm suprised the M5 ran slower becasue the cross wind at beeville was just like Goliad. Plus we had the CTS-V coupe running 10mph faster than it did before with almost the same power as before.

The times that I drove the M5, the young lady who pre-stages you told me that I was driving into a direct head wind, for whatever that's worth. Seemed like a constant 20mph breeze in your face to me. No clue what that means on MPH at those hight speeds, but the M5 ran 166.6(Jerry), 165.1(Clayton), and 166.6(Clayton). Both of the 166.6 runs were using launch control, and the 165.1 was with my first granny launch.

Maybe it was the driver.

what time was that pass? I know we were staged late on saturday and the black ctsv ran very early with no wind. (we were not that lucky)

It was extremely consistant though, within 1mph every run.

And how in the world were you making 10mph faster on the same power???? Wouldn't that take approximately 80whp to make up 10mph at those speeds?

ya, seems like we just had bad luck out there with the wind. I don't think I had one pass that was wind free. The sat pm pass was freaking scary, as I was getting slammed with a crosswind toward the end of the track.

It had our tune in it - and made more power and safer over the entire mile than were it was before. It was only making 10-15hp than before.

With the early head wind it was down 3mph from the 176mph runs

Bad luck???? LOL No, what happend to my car was bad luck or bad something. We all had 26-32 mph head cross winds a year ago in October, when me and my wife both ran over 180 mph. Could hardly hold the wheel straight on the upper end of the track! The same time the Orange Lambo was blown off the track , when the huge wind caught his chute! It was hot, very humid and very windy.

It is posted above (somewhere between the phallic symbols, alcohol and drugs), that peps complained of being 5-6 mph off this event but they cried that they were 10-12 MPH , when we raced in October 2010, from the huge wind those days. Bottom line, if you got to race, then you had luck!!!
