Oh and the road we chose only has about 2 trees in ~2 miles. Very level concrete road with very minimal bumps. It's also about as wide as 5 to 6 cars, so plenty of room.

A few years back on the way to my favorite track in the stix (Muncie Raceway), I followed a noisy a$$ 6.0 GTO all the way to the track. Later that night, low and behold, I am lined up against him. I was a full second plus faster than he was. What is a second worth in the quarter 6 or 8 car lengths or more? All I know is it was ugly. I couldn't watch carefully because you have to brake fast or go into the corn fields.

Looked at it, an looks like it has headers, but still no 75hp.. I think his ds header is cracked too. Who knows. Might see rain Friday but if not is still on.

I shot him a $500 bet for a 1/4 mile on a closed road. He laughed and said he'd race but only for $100. Aiming for next Friday, I'll try and get my custom film setup on the car and ilyk! Camera setup is 2 jvc 1080p everio camcorders. I put on on the front hole on the roof for the bike rack facing forward and one in the car facing out the back windshield.

On the way to the spot (about 15 miles away) go pulled over for front plate. Only took about 25 mins for a written warning/fix it ticket, second offense in same county. But afterwards I show up and he's there getting in his car. Starts it and I said let me let mine cool off a bit, because of heat soak etc. He says he can't go anyways because I stood him up?? I show up 25 minutes late, even show him the damn ticket. So of course he pulls away like an idiot. Called him a minute ago and he said he still wants to race but for no bets and a location of his choice. Seems like he wants to race on a two lane Country road about 10 miles out of town. Road is absolute **** and there's no room and tons of potholes. I think he meant it as am insult. I'm still PMing him on Fb. Trying to go for tomorrow same place same bet.

Why don't you just have front plates, do you wanna get a ticket? Secondly, he's an idiot, what kind of retard runs away for being "stood up", what is he a childish schoolgirl, this isn't a romantic date. He probably looked for an excuse to bail and that was it. This whole thread is stupid, you've really put this race on a pedestal when it's just a simple drag race not unlike any other that happens everyday in the world. Besides, a GTO has no chance against the Mercedes NO CHANCE, he shouldn't be playing with fast cars, maybe he can race a stock 1985 Civic with his stupid GTO and probably lose. End Of Story
