Did Mercedes/AMG ever make these wheels?
Damn I can't upload picture from iPhone. But I saw a e55 for sale that had wheels exactly like the 3 piece gunmetal 65 AMG wheels but they were chrome. The dealer said the buyer made them chrome after buying the car. But did Mercedes ever make that style wheel that isn't 3 piece?

That is what I thought. I asked the dealer and suggested they were aftermarket but the guy got pretty defensive saying that they were chormed by the owner. I can't check the car in person since its 400 miles away but the salesman said they are NOT 3 peice wheels. And I'm pretty sure mercedes never made that style in a non-3 peice. But then again maybe they are 3-peice wheels and the salesman doesn't know what that means.

The AMG style IV alloy 5 split-spoke wheels are 2-piece, not 3-piece. They will have AMG stamped on the outside like shown below. The ones you posted don't have the AMG stamp and chroming should not cover it up.

I have seen fake ones with the AMG stamp as well. The only way to really know is to pull a rim and look at the part number on the back.
Real or not, the chromes gotta go anyways!
