anyone here own a V box?

does it just measure 0-60,0-100,1/4mi and 60-130 or can it be setup to test any mph-mph? just want to do some testing from other speeds, like say 50-150. for $500, i would like a little more

If you put an SD card in the vbox...you can datalog the entire time you have it plugged in. It will automatically write to the card all the speed...time data. So afterward you can create/edit pretty much any intervals you want (provided you hit the speed you are looking for). Without the SD card, you can set up the vbox to display pretty much any custom interval. I believe it has some default settings like 0-60, 0-100 and I don't remember if I had to set up the 60-130mph display along with the ones above. But I just did that to see how it did on the fly and then read the SD card when I got home to look at the specifics of the runs.

For $499 you are talking about a PBox. 10 position samples per second.

A Vbox is $1000 and up and takes 100 position samples per second.

Using the SD is the right way to go.

Using the same piece of equipment for before and after should give you very good results. In fact variation will be more from air temp and road temp/traction.

exactly. not looking for an accurate number, would just like to test my new mods on the fly and see if they work and not wait a few months to hit the track
