What did you pay for an alignment?

Those of you who are lowered, what did you pay for an alignment after? The quote I got was "at least $250". That seems high to me.

I'm not lowered but wanted to at least give you a point of reference. I got a 4 wheel alignment for my E55 last week and paid $89.

I just got mine done today for $100 at the local MB dealer. Every shop in town here said they cannot align it bc it requires special tools they don't have. $250 seems very high.

Ouch, which one..? I think I paid $180 at PP Dallas, but that was with some stuff and my steering wheel was off center...I've gotten tires road force balanced at Nine-Eleven in Irving, those guys are really cool but I'm not sure if they could align...NTB on Central and Lovers swears they aligned it, but who knows there...

I would say talk to Carson at the Park Cities Autoscope. Tell him Ryan from DFWAC referred you. Might get a better deal...

Unless they specifically stated that they are going to install crash bolts to adjust camber and caster, they are ripping you off.

I love being a service manager. Bought the tool from Hunter for the tow bar through the company and paid my alignment tech $20

I tried going to the dealer and they said they coulnt do it becasue the wheels I have on the car dont have the little holes in them to hook up the machine to.

does that sound right?

My RX7 mechanic Edgar at MAZDAPROS. He just did a gas tank/fuel pump replacement on a E500.
He knows the W211 and W203 platforms better than the dealer
I can introduce you to him. He recently aligned my car after i installed some coilovers. Back then he charged $40 for my RX7. I think thats the buddy price.
Here is his setup.

West End Alignment $120-150...can't remember exactly but it felt better than the previous alignment. They are highly recommended
