I could see you pulling away from the 65 from a dig (because of the weight) but on the highway where the weight doesn't play as much as a factor I'm having a hard time believing this. I mean you pulled on him like nothing. Just doesn't seem right to me

What does a Eurocharge tune net on the S65, 60-75whp? That car is heavier than a whale, weight might have LESS to do with a race on the highway but it still matters, you can't honestly say if that car weighed 4000 pounds it would still pull the same. If Hadi's car is a 10s car, then he would definitely kill a EC tuned S65.

Wow! 5,035lbs. I didn't know that they were that heavy. But boy is the W211 S65 sexy..

Nice kill, but a healthy tuned 65 should walk away on a top end pull, even from a heavily modded E55. Bone stock S65's with drags only have hit 11.5's, and tuned ones in the 10's all day long.

Here are the 2 stock to stock and the result is almost exact opposite of Hadis race. I always say it, SOME E55s are just stronger than others. Hadi snagged a good one.

Okay, so this w220 s65 is over 5,000 lbs.

So add .2 for the w221 being 200 lbs heavier and your your still looking at a 11.3 second car MAX, prob more like 11.2.. And thats 1/4 mile times where the 55 would have the advantage, and this video is highway where the 65 would have the advantage . So the 65 must have been playing around, thats my guess.

a well tuned s65 should pull pretty hard on the highway- 10's all day long with a tune only s65, not on this planet.

My Kleemann tuned (BMC drop-in filters) CL65 dyno'ed 576rwhp and was able to run a best 11.209 ET on drag radials and a best 124.00 mph trap speed in pretty good DA (weighing 4,505lbs). There are plenty of E55's which have bettered those times. Now laden the 65 platform with another 500lbs...and I am sure there would be plenty more E55s out there that would walk it.

FWIW, Andy's (MHP) tune only SL65 ran 11.0x.... I would assume same weight as me... 4400 lbs or so..
Yeah, with it's heft, I cant see a tune only W221 in the 10s. From what I read, 12.4-12.6 seems to be what they run stock. You're not losing 1.5s with just a tune.

There was nothing wrong with the S65, however, there is a problem with my car. ITS TOO FAST! hahahaa.
I was a bit nervous to race him, but Shardul, Brooke and I have put so much time into this car and its working out!
I need to get her to a track to see her real potential!

I'll be sure to remember this post next time I'm piloting your car. How many sets of rear tires am I directly responsible for?
