I sold a bike and a car when I got the E55.

2000 ZX-12R. Muzzy exhaust, PC3, filters, etc.... Makes the E55 feel like it's going backwards uphill.

1999 Mustang GT Convertible. Cobra brakes, bolt-ons, wheels.

Previous cars:

2004 Monte Carlo SS Supercharged

1995 Camaro Z-28. Bolt-ons, cam, 3,600 stall(swapped to auto), 125 shot

OOPS!

Coming from a Lexus IS-F, great car, good power, I had mine all decked up in real Carbon Fiber inside and out, it was just not cutting it with a 3rd kid.

I wouldn't be able to go a couple of days without a car. How'd you do it?

Came from an '04 M3 daily driver. Titanium Silver Metallic Coupe, 6MT, with Rogue El Diablo rear exhaust, Custom Performance 200 cell race cats and resonators, JVT Headers, 19" VMR V710s in gunmetal, H&R Springs, and BMC drop-in filter. Appearance mods were smoked corners and side markers, Black gills and grills, and carbon fiber badges, LED angel eyes and HID foglights. Car was super-fun and I loved that sound, but it was getting up there in miles. I've had some foot trouble in the past year or so, and the clutch wasn't much fun anymore either.

I had another type of Merc--still have it, but I had it then too.

1968 Mercury Monterey. Fastback, 390 (6.4L) big block V8, X-code 10.5:1 high compression with Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and Edelbrock carb that I tuned with my wideband O2. I've seen quite a few fuel injected cars that have more inconsistent A/F ratios than this car. This is backed by a C6 automatic and Ford 9" rear with 2.79 gears. I've done quite a lot of suspension work to her so far: Pretty much doubled the spring rate front and rear with 2002 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor kit, and have custom-rate Bilstein HD shocks as well with poly bushings. I installed a 1 3/8" swaybar on front and a stock 5/8" front bar on the rear. It's got discs up front already, and I'll get rear discs on when I find the time. The wheels in the picture are stock 18" BMW M3 wheels that I sold with my M3, but I guess I'll put the VMR's on there now.

Also have another Merc-'64 Comet that needs an engine rebuild. Slow as hell.

And I have something faster than the E55:

Also have a '93 240SX with SR20DET swap, it's like driving a go-kart. Me and a buddy are going to swap this engine with his, and put a 5.0 in this sometime this winter.

I've owned many different cars over the years, from imports such as Evos when they first came out, a DSM, to domestics like a Grand Prix GXP, 2000 Camaro Z28 that ran low 10s on slicks and skinnies. My last toy I sold was an 2002 Lincoln LS with a LS1 and 6 speed tranny out of an 02 trans am. I love my E55 and it's the first German car I have ever owned and it's everything I thought it would be so far. Here are a few random pics.

I've always liked those Lincoln LSs. Too bad they never invested much into continuing that line. Lincoln is hurting now. Nothing but FWD-based Fords with a fancy grille. They should have kept the LS going. It should be running a supercharged version of the 5.0L as a lighter, slightly smaller, nimbler competitor to the CTS-V.

Sold a 1972 Chevelle to fund

And have the Mustang in the garage with a battery tender.

Both great cars but can't compare to how the E55 runs and feels.

Modded '95 Volvo 850 T5-R in yellow. I caught crap all the time for that car, but it was fun for my first family sedan and I could get repair work done CHEAP (free) since my father is a Volvo tech.

Wow, never knew you came over here! I always saw your LS over on lincolnvscadillac, how's the switch? Just wondering, because most seem to follow the LS to S type R path. I'm hoping to follow within the next couple months and pick up an e55 as well.

Haha yep that's me. I'm really enjoying my E55 a lot. I did my homework and a looked at a lot of cars before I ended up at the E55. Hands down the most car for the money. My requirements being luxury and performance, I feel like I made the right choice.

The that bought the old beast is taking very good care of it and still adding more mods. So I'm glad to know its in good hands.
