What car did you come from when you got your E55?
Just wondering what some of you had before te E55. I'm looking at selling my AWD Trailblazer SS to get into the E55.

I had a CLK500 for my comfy night out car. It as great with a quiet, comfortable ride and nice power. The E55 is a bumpier ride with a sweet exhaust growl and gobs of power! It complements my 911 turbo nicely.

'06 E55
I'm transitioning from this to an '06 E55 that I just bought today. I am currently living in Japan and I am moving to the US soon (San Diego, to be specific). Looking forward to making the SoCal connections. Anyhow, this is my '97 Toyota Chaser Tourer V with a 1JZ-GTE. Best $3,000 ever spent. The little white van is also mine. 660cc's of turbocharged fury:

03 E500. Bought the wife the CLS 550 for her birthday. She gave it back to me and took the E500 for a couple of months. Then I bought the E55 and gave the CLS back to her. we still have the E500.

I sold (and bought....and sold....and bought) bank stocks during the market crash to finance my 55....first personal car in ten years (both wifey and I have had company cars since graduating college)......

Porsche 911
I was daily driving my '95 Porsche Carrera. I really miss this car with it's amazing handling and sound! It went to the previous owner and we have a deal that I get first crack when he's done with it! 
I have to say that the E55 is a far superior daily driver though and I love it! Plus, the Porsche covered the purchase price, tax, and travel expense to get the E55!
