Is this sound normal on engine start?

Is this sound normal on engine start?
I recently got a 2006 E55 AMG. Love the car.
One thing that I am concerned about is a howl noise on engine cold start which to me sounds like a power steering pump going bad. It goes almost completely away not to long after engine start.
All of my vehicles are supercharged with Rotrex and Whipple supercharger and none of them make any noise like this when started so I would like some feed back from the group.

So, is this sound normal or do I need to look for a problem?

I would put the camera at the front where your trying to ascertain the noise but if it is the loud whine your referring to at cold start up, perfectly normal. Smog pump.

I know this has been brought up in the past as well, but the same transmission is used in many applications with no noise. EXACT same trans pump is used in Chrysler products with the 722. Again no whine. Go figure. Some say air pump, PS pump, etc...................

It is 100% not the smog pump since I removed mine and it still makes that noise. It's also not the PS pump because without the belt it still does it. In my car I pinpointed it as coming from the transmission but I know of some people who say it's the engines oil pump. I've heard many non amg benz's make this noise but it is apparently random on non amg benz's yet pretty much EVERY amg benz makes it.

All I know is it sounds GREAT! My neighbor came over one day after I started the AMG and let it warm up in the garage and as he walked up I said to him ,"sounds mean" to which he responded, "umm, no, it's sounds pissed off!" LOL.

Whine is N O R M A L
I want to see the entire headlight... Do you like them? I saw a similar set, but the top (turn signal) portion did not have divider, and I could not tell what that would look like on the car

Thanks for the compliments. Should have a photo shoot done within weeks. Just so much going on. But yes, I sprayed the bumper, and blended into both fenders and hood for a good match- @$%^&! metallic colors. 
This was post color sanding and I just cut and installed the protection film on all of the front glass areas.
