Install 82mm TB--->Drive Without Tune?
Hey guys, my 82mm Tb has been sitting in my room for quite some time. If I were to install it, would I be okay to drive around until I get tuned? Or should I wait to get my Fuel Rail kit from Bruce at TTM?

From my own experience no problem, but watch out because your AFT will go leaner. I was also stupid going WOT a lot of times but I strongly don't got WOT no matter what happen.
Since you will have to open SC, I recommend you to wait until you get your fuel rail to make easier installation.

I don't have a wideband to watch A/F but my last dyno showed that I was running rich. This is due to my high flow cats that i installed without getting a retune. I think I will wait for the fuel rail so I can do it all at one time.
I'm just hungry for more power. I think I will pick up a lot of power with the TB and the TTM Rail because of me running rich.
Yo Sun what does the TB do in terms of powerband? More low end or more top end? Or both?
I bought it from Forrest Gump 9 (David) who is a great guy. He knows his *hit and informed me about everything I needed to do with the TB. It is an Audi 82mm TB and everything is plug and play for me!

Meziere wp136 pump in the front
40' of 3/4" hose- gates duroflex
2 90 degree 3/4" barb to barb fittings
1 ball shut off valve for the purge
2 fittings that were 3/4 npt (screw in) to 3/4" barb
for the tank itself
1 5/8" npt (screw) to 3/4 barb for the purge
various clamps
Then you want to get a cap for the split system, as well as a 5/8" (i believe) splice barb to barb fitting
Hope this helps

If you decide to keep the Audi Cap let me know. I can help you out on the wiring. I found bits and pieces of info scattered around the forums but none specifically stated the correct wiring colors and pins. One of the guys on the forum was kind enough to help me .. I'd be happy to share the info!

I went with a bigger tb and kept my same tune and the car made 530whp and the a/f is the same.I dont know how but it seems like the ecu hit its target 11.8 a/f by adding fuel on its own as my ltft have moved.
this is kleemann tuning so I dont know how agressive your tune is.I even did a super heat soaked 4th gear dyno pull and got the car in the upper 10s a/f at redline so the car is dumping fuel when it needs it.
so long story short
502whp with 11.8 a/f up top end and then
530whp with 11.8 a/f up top end

My tune is pretty conservative but very smooth curve. I'm hoping to gain around 50whp after the TB and Rail Kit.
