We'll see. So far most of them have been perfectly civil. Sending Marcus over there is the equivalent of using a rocket launcher to open a locked door.
At the end of the day, none of it matters. Hopefully the OP over there turns out to be a cool dude, and we have another person that does the MIR rentals with us. After seeing the nasty E55s show up, like BTs, maybe, just maybe we can convert him.

I'm sure it's the same in the E55/63 world. If you're not up on the MB nomenclature, those cars just look like an E320 with a body kit, to the untrained eye. That is until you guys hit the "Hammer of God" pedal, and go about your education of them.
I was honestly flattered that he went through the trouble of tracking me down. Deep down inside I'm very vain, so there's that...
He's messaged me a few times. Seems like a completely cool dude. Either that, or you guys are going to read about me getting chopped up into pieces and scattered in the Potomac River. If that happens, Cylinder Head gets the E63 P30 wheels on my E500.

I love reading all those "well, for 100K it better be fast" and all the crap about the interior, blah, blah, blah. The thing about it for me, is that for a luxury car, the 55s, 63s, 65s, 600s all pack one hell of a punch! With a Mustang, Camaro, etc., you automatically know what you are up against. Sure, some of them are tuned, some have nitrous, etc., but you usually don't see some guy in a Chevy Cobalt challenging a Mustang. The thing about the AMGs and 600s is, most people don't know what they are. Especially with so many people having AMG badges on non-AMG cars. They go up against a real one and get their *** handed to them by a luxury car! I never stop smiling when some young punk in his bright yellow Chevy Cobalt pulls up to me at a stop light and revs his engine and actually thinks he has a chance, then a few seconds later he realized he got beat by a 4-door sedan!!! And not only beat, but beat bad!

Little off topic, had a new 5.0 Stang try to rev down on me, but had my kid in the back and public road with traffic, so no go regardless. Anyhow, he tapped twice then I heard his buddy say ,"oh **** dude, Kompressor, $uck that." They just let me cruise away. I just smiled a little while the Thomas the Train tune was playing. LOL. Imagine if it said V12BiTurbo.

Yeah, there's some of that. But honestly, after I made a few posts, the tone of the whole thread kinda changed. Most of them actually started defending the 3-pointed star against the 1 kid. Apparently, that kid had the car purchased for him by daddy. We all know how we react to those guys over here. Looks like they police their own over there too.
Anyway, that thread is dead over there. They OP sent me his contact info, and I'll see about meeting him and his son. Hopefully his kid appreciates his dad's efforts.

If that 1 guy w/never ending gum flap mod ran a tuned SL600 no way he'd pulled away like vid shows w/his limited mod list..
