little trick fix to help harsh s/c
With the larger pulley we get that nasty jerk that makes the car embarrising to drive at times.
Here is what Iv done for the past few months with almost 100% fix for it.
I have tried about 4 different size belts and swapped out the pullies to find a setup that puts just enough pressure on the blower without it slipping and enough to not let the belt slip.
Right now I have my car almost as smooth as stock and most of the time I cant even tell if the blower engaged and worries me that something is wrong.
I think Im running a 51.5 in belt, that helped alot but it was still there so I started messing with spacers that you can jam in between the tentioner and the line that lifts the pulley a little.
Take a small rubber object and lift your tentioner and put in in there and mess with the space until you find a sweet spot where there is no jerk and no belt slip.
You will love the way the car drives without the harsh jerk the big pulley makes.
a 2-3mm smaller tentioner pulley would also do the same trick!!!

I got my car running clutch right now,you cant even feel the blower engage and its not slipping at all!!!
I dont think the jerk is from the belt.I think the tentioner is putting load on the actual supercharger bearing/clutch and that little etra load is not making it spin free.
try it,it will take 2 seconds.Just find a rubber stub to jam in there. The one I have now is about 2-3mm thick.

Thanks for sharing skratch. As much as I hate that tensioner and messing with it (I've already replaced mine twice in 3 years), it may be worth a shot. By the way, you are so suspended for fabricating your own solution.
