--E63 exhaust system for e55 question--
So i went to the dealer to ask how much were the exhaust for the e63 and he kept telling me that its the same as the e55 and quoted me $800 for one side and $1120 for the other side and this was WHOLE sale prices too 
i didnt know the mufflers are different on each side... and i dont understand why he would say that they are the same e55 and e63 when clearly they are not... maybe looks wise but deff not the internals
does anyone have the P/N of the e63 exhaust??

Ill check the part numbers for you tomm.
Mufflers are very different. Look identical thats about it. E63 mufflers also weigh 50% less than e55 mufflers!
IMO if you want better sound, find some cls55/63 or c63 mufflers. E63 ones were my last resort as I could not find anything else. Probably will upg. to some cls mufflers in the future...

What's diff between cls and E63 exhaust sys? Are the 09- 11 models better freeer flowing? Is that were they get some of the 11 more hp than 07s? I thought it was mostly due to torque converterless trans and or stuff 
I've heard some on utub and they do seem to sound a lil more vrooom vroomier.

So the W211 e63 & the w211 e55 have different mufflers in what way?
Also Are cls 55 muffler a straight fit on e55 like hanger wise. Like when u stick it on the hangers do the tips sit in the same place as the stock mufflers ?

Observe how in the first photo the hangers are lined up yet the tips on the right side muffler (CLS55) extend beyond the frame of the photo.
CLS 55 mufflers installed without any modification to hanger's tips. Just slid onto the stock pipes

I cant say from a first person POV but
As far as the SL55 Mufflers go you might wanna hit up tbal since as far as I know he's the only one who ever ran those.

sl55 ones do no line up as good as the e63 or cls55 mufflers. C63 need some but very minor adjustment. sl55 was quite of bit work and sound wasnt much better.

Nanausw6 had a pic showing the cls55 tips stick out longer! When u fit supersprint mufflers do the exhaust tip sit in the stock place like do they stick out more or anything or exactly like stock tips ?
& has anyone felt any power gain from using cls55 or 63 mufflers ?

I just finished installing the cls55 exhaust onto my e55 and all the hangers are lined up from the resonator to the mufflers. The cls55 tips stick out about half an inch more than the e55 tips. They're also more centered so I had to trim the diffuser.

i GOT C63 mufflers they sound godly but dont fit my CLS 550 so will anyone trade me CLS 55 mufflers for my C63 Mufflers, the c63 ones sound better and they fit E Class =
C63 mufflers > CLS55 Mufflers.
