Way to check IAT in car?
I searched for about an hour and didn't find anything that would show how to check the IAT in car (but I thought I saw a way to do this while searching something else). Is there a mode/way to do this without using any external datalogger/laptop?
Thanks!
Thanks!

cheap way is to get an obd2 bluetooth adapter off ebay and use a droid cell with a obd2 scan app.
Most are free and only like 5 bucks if you want the full versions.
Thats how I do it and it will cost you about 35 bucks with the full torque app

There was also a guy who wired his outside temp gauge to ready IATs, so he could read them on his dash... Might also be something to look into if your only concerned with IATs

Look into Dash Dyno.
Plugs into the OBDII port and gives you live data of your IAT, AFR, etc.
Borrowed one from my buddy a while back and its a cool little gadget.
Here is a link.

well i got the ELM 327 working with my Iphone. Here's how:
1. first of all your phone needs to be jailbroken
2. go into Cydia and download roqyBT4, this will give u full bluetooth functionality
3. download roqyOBD add-on as well
4. configure roqyBT4, you need to purchase a license, which costs $6. then you can connect to the OBD sensor, it creates a new address, which is 127.0.0.0, port 35000
5. go into DashComand. add a device with a custom IP to match the one above.
6. all done, it will connect now.
