California Track Day (Famoso / Fontana?)

California Track Day (Famoso / Fontana?)
I know Mo is setting something up soon, but anyone else have the same itch I have? It is so awesome to see the times they are putting down back east, I am having to live vicariously through chawkins and lowprofile... Both pushing the envelope. Although I know I am not at their level, I can not wait to get to a real track.
Ive been practicing at the local 1/8 mile, and hopefully the practice will pay of on a preped track. The only street car to beat me so far is my buddies GTR. It is pretty well modded, minus larget turbos, That is until last night. I lined up with a Shelby Cobra. I have run a number of these without much problem.. This guy was FAST. He pulled a 7.35 to my 7.41. My best of the night was a 7.31. New DR's seem to take a little time before they bite. My traps are up, so I really want to get to a real track to see where things are. then the next phase of mods can begin.
If anyone else feels the same, post up. Lets get a track day in before the end of the year!!!
