Had a magnaflow true xpipe installed. Sound got much much quieter and refined. Still drones a bit but thats because the muffler sits like a foot inside from the rear of the bumper. Once tips are on next week should hopefully sound better. The cutouts sound much different to now... like a high rev v8 lol

Thanks guys! Video doesnt do justice I guess... Its definantly not for somebody looking for a real exhaust, as the note is barely louder than the e55 stock exhaust, and not as loud as the cls55. I think it should sound better once the quad tips are on as right now the sound is bouncing off the inside of the rear bumper.

Yup lol, still gonna **** with it until its perfect to me. If I cant get it to sound right, might just do the eurocharged mufflers, but I am just worried it maybe too loud...

selling the mufflers and 4 amg style tips... message me your offers need gone asap, I cannot no longer deal with the bs of the local exhaust shops unable to install tips!! Need to move to Nor or So Cal haha...

Greedy shops rather try to convince you to buy a whole exhaust setup I guess... Went to 2 shops got the run around, dont got time to waste on stupid ****, just got annoyed, its doable, I guess I have no patience lol. Going back to the stock setup, keeping the cutouts blah.

Sounds brutal with the cutouts open. Got any pics of them installed from underneath? I had an electric cutout on the downpipe on my Syclone and it was like a shot of nitrous when I opened that sucker. Definitely nice to have when in attack mode.
