would a lose snorkel cause a Lean cel??/
Hi guys on my E63
replace my intake gasket and all the bolts last year because I had a CEL for a lean code.all ok till now.just got the same lean code bank 1 3 days after I removed the resonator.cleared the code and it did not come back yet. the only think I could see is the snorkel conecting to the airbox was not clipped in all the way around , could this have caused it?
thease alway unclip
Thanks

I would re-torque the 4 bolts in the front on the manifold when motors ice cold. I have seen a few 63cars needing to be re-torqued after a period of time has passed to cure the issue.

And be extra careful to make sure the rear of the box is totally sealed. It super easy to slip it into the Y-pipe, but not be in perfect..This might not make sense, I'm pretty sure I've got strep :-)
