hey Berti, looks good, revival again of this mod!
I have just managed to locate a set of c63 back boxes and center box which are being shipped to me.
the boxes in your pic look a little low, are they much lower than the oem boxes?
i may utilise the c63 center resonator to avoid any droning.
any tips for the shop?

cheers berti, droning was my only concern I will use the same shop as MOR8A used but i do have the original c63 resonator, so may get the E55 one replaced with that and if its too quiet after that then unclamp it and replace with x-pipe.
its a daily ride which the Mrs uses and last thing i want is possibility of drone, otherwise im going to get a drone in my ear from her lol!

Car is booked in, going to try the sound in stages as the shop is only 1 hour away from me
1. just replace rear boxes
2. replace rears with x-pipe
3 replace rears, x-pipe and secondries

after seeing Berti's video I also did the C63 exhaust mod & love it. I deleted my primary cats when I installed kleemann headers, replaced my resonator with an x pipe and have no drone. video links below of sound & install.

Some good vids there scoto very informative thanks
I'm going with a slightly more subtle sound by replacing the e55 middle and back boxes with the c63 ones, roll on end of feb

you might want to check my recent threads were i did a fully custom built 3" exhaust. This was pretty much all stock piping with xpipe kleeman headers and C63 mufflers. now its way more flowing after seeing all the piping that was there i was surprised it still sounded that decent
