Well, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! The car is at the dealership in PA and about to be shipped to my house in OH! My Dealer rep, Keil(CME4BENZ), sent me a bunch of pictures of my baby today and the anxiety to finally get the car has never been worse!

I'll be taking tons of pictures when I get it (Hopefully sometime next week) but here's a sneak peak:

Dave...what an awesome looking car man! I am green with envy. Mine won't be available until Feb! I live in Ohio as well. (Findlay) If you don't mind my asking...where do you live? And would you mind giving me a tour of your baby someday? Don't feel pressured...I'm not easily offended. I would just like to see one in the flesh before 2004!!! What options do you have on your new baby?

Congrats. I too just heard from my dealer today that my new w211 E55 just came in. My dealer is out near Iowa (serviced my parents for a long time) and I can't get down there until Friday night. I also got Black. I feel like an 8 year old with 3 days til Christmas. I'm having trouble thinking about anything else. I'll post pics as soon as I get it.

Dude, I know how you feel. That same feeling made me change from a Sept/Oct delivery of an 04 model to an Aug delivery of an 03. Soon my son the pain will be all gone, only to be replaced by pure bliss. Too bad you can't take it to bed with you.

I SOOOOOOOOO know the feeling. Mine's on the boat (HUAL Tropicana... fortunately no pics floating around that could give me heart failure like those of the Wallenius Tricolor) and will be in JAXPORT in TWELVE DAYS (or sooner). Sooo, just two-three weeks and she is MMMMMMMMMMINE!

Are those rims standard? I usually don't like rims of a MB, but these are perfect for your car! very nice color also, enjoy that supercharged beast! (sorry M5...)

Those are standard. The new rims are somewhat 'BMW like' and thin spoked. Mercedes wheels are usually 'full faced' type wheel designs.

Leased, don't know the exact figures off hand, but I'll find out. (I didn't handle the paperwork) Mods... It's leased, so I was going to try to refrain, but after seeing the specs on some Kleemann and Renntech 55k mods, its going to be hard not too! As for getting the car in PA. Simple, I really wanted the car, my dealership's slots were filled (I was about to buy an E500...) so I looked elsewhere, and thank god I found CME4BENZ! He's my hero! Not too far from me, and had an early build slot open!
