Notice how the only responses you got so far are from other newbs? What makes you think the rest of us will waste our time on a statistical survey with no further information on how it will benefit us? How about providing some details on WHY you want us to participate in the survey so we can make an informed decision on whether or not it's a waste of time?

To be honest, it won't benefit you in any way what so ever. But you would be helping out a fellow Mercedes-Benz lover with passing a Statistics course.

I am this close to deleting these threads as spam... no other posts by poster, link leading out of MBworld, etc. Please explain why I shouldn't delete the threads as spam.

Well, I am working on a statistics research, and I need at least 100 data samples (at least 100 people need to take the survey) so that I can analyze the data I collect correctly. My research is about the S-Class, E-Class, and C-Class Mercedes-Benz models and how appealing they are to people. The threads I posted about this survey will be removed once I complete my research (somewhere in January or early February).

Also, I have not posted anything else because I just registered yesterday so that I can post the survey about Mercedes to ensure that Mercedes lovers will be rating the models in my survey. After I complete my research, hopefully I will be able to post some more interesting things in my free time.

Actually, i currently drive an E230, but I have saved up enough money to get a used S65. I will be getting it in about 1 month. If you want to ask anymore questions that relate to me, please send me a private message.

Might have been a better idea to introduce yourself (being newer) and then explain what the poll/survey was for in your first post. But these responses are rough lol.

Results of your survey-MB owners are A-holes.

EDIT* Took the survey. It took me literally 2 minutes. Anyway good luck with yer project.

Haha. Good job analyzing the results! Thanks for helping me out. Like you said, maybe I should have explained myself FIRST. Thanks!

No problem. But the results are just ratings from 1-10. And I will be using the averages to analyze the results and create graphs. So, pretty boring stuff. But if you insist, I don't mind displaying them (after I have all the data I need).

Well I was just thinking if I spend two minutes of my time on a survey it'd be good to see results even if it is just 1-10 ratings.

I am all for helping you, but I think your data will be skewed. You need all stock pics to make the results as bias as free as possible. For example the S class section, the newest one is modified and looks a lot better than the rest of the stock pics.

To MB lovers like ourselves, there is a huge difference between an E55 AMG and a E320. Your results will not be statistically relevant due to differing model spec levels alone, but if all you need is 100 responses and any answers will do then you should be ok.

It seems like you are doing it based on model year. As an example I like the 1999 C43 much better than the 2009 C350. But I like the 09 C63 much better than the 1999 C280. You should have kept the trim levels in the pics the same across the board for the best results.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. But that doesn't really matter because it's not the data i'm concerned about, the "assignment" for this research is to see if I can accurately analyze a set of data and create distribution charts and graphs. Wether or not the data is 100% accurate does not matter a lot. If I was being assessed on the accuracy of the data I collect, then like you said, I would have used stock pictures. Thanks for caring!
