Just checked in. 6 hours door to door. Not bad at all considering I really didn't speed too much, stopped a bunch and hit major Columbus traffic for a tractor trailer fire.
Just cracked my second beer, and waiting for the shenanigans to begin.
Brooke, the track here couldn't hold my car last year. I was way down on power too, because it was damn near 100* and my IATs were 160 before my burnout. So, I'm just gonna spectate mostly. I normally get asked to make a pass or two, so I might. I dunno though, because I'd hate to break something at this track. The word BOONIES, is really insulting to boonies. It's way the EFFFF out there.
Anyway, the SL600 performed brilliantly for the road trip, as usual. Pit stops were always extended due to answering a bunch of questions. But I dig on that crap, so I was happy to chat.
Other than the Ferrari, and a dude at a rest stop with a Z06, the SL600 found no suitors that wanted to play. Fine by me, as my cruise was set on 78 for most of the trip.
