Should have just painted the stock grill.. Too many stars going on here.. At least do a flat hood badge if your going to keep this..

It's a 55 but that's definitely a 63 bumper. . .

Bought one and the paint really isn't that bad - the body shop has it now and even the paint guy is leaving it alone and just adding an extra layer of clear. I personal like it better than the OEM one because it doesn't have the MB badge but I have no idea of the fitment or how it will stand up to chips but for the money. . .

Not feeling it. I think painting or dipping the stock grill black is the way to go. Front end looks "too busy" with the double star. To each his own, though. If it floats your boat, stick with it Bro!!

I just went back to a painted black stock grill on my 550,
I had the two star thing going on too, but Mickey helped to hide that
fact a bit.....might not work for you though
it doesn't look that bad........
but if you like it, then it's done

My feeling is that the front end if black should be more stealth and to do that you have to keep it clean and simple. Way too much going on with the front end. You want the front to really blend in with the rest of the car and not create too much attention. Blacking out is the best way, but I would look at some of the other posters on the forum and just get some other ideas after seeing their fronts. Good Luck with your project.
