lol you just said exactly what I mean.When you spilt the cooling you need to add more volume to make up for the less water that is going threw the blower.

Im not suprised one bit your temps droped with a 1.5 gallon tank.

try spilting the system and running a pump all the time without adding more volume and see how that goes for ya.

That could be true. The small bmw tank does no good.

If it works for you A, rock it! I'm suprised though with your setup you didnt do a rear mount tank?

nooo I got a 7 series res and its about 3x bigger than the regular one people use on here.

How does the volume go down by splitting the system? It's not like the water in the coolant reservoir counts as part of your intercooler system since it doesn't circulate. I any case, splitting the system will add volume even if it's just by using a bmw reservoir.

the BMW resoevior people use is just a filling point. It has only one hose coming out of it, fluid does not circulate through it.

I thought they used two hoses...

regardless, then splitting or no splitting...the volume should be the same because the oem reservoir is also just a filling point.
