2009 E350 4MATIC - Wheel Help
I hit a huge pot hole and damaged the left front wheel on my 2009 MB E350 4MATIC - it has the AMG Sport Kit. Took it into the local tire store as I thougt maybe the wheel balance weigths came off. They showed me the wheel had a semi-substantial flat spot and suggested moving it to the back until I replace it.
So, couple of questions since I've had this car only a few months and don't know as much about it as I should:

- I've found a few OEM sites that seem to indicate the front wheels are a different width than the back wheels - is that true?
- If #1 above is true, is it okay to switch the left front to the left back for a short period of time?
- Any ideas where to get a reasonably priced replacement wheel? I have the factory 5 spoke 18" AMG wheels on the vehicle now.
- What is the correct size for the front - 4MATIC AMG?

Well, I've answered question number 1 on my own. I downloaded the user guide and found the E350 4MATIC with AMG Sport package has 8.5 J X 18 H2 wheel size - apparently the same size wheels all around (seems to make sense!). Offset is 1.5" (35mm).
So - any idea where I can find a replacement?

Damn - should have kept reading. A few pages later the manual has specifications for "mixed sized tires." Front wheels are 8.5 JU X 18 H2, rear are 9 J X 18 H2, with an offset of 1.54" (39mm). Guess I need to go out and measure unless anyone knows of a easier indicator.
