Need help on pricing 07 E63
I am looking for some help on pricing for the sale of my 07 E63. Let me know what I should list it for and ideas of what it should sell for. Also, what listing service is best? Craig’s list, auto trader, Ebay?
Here are the details:
• 62,000 miles
• Pano roof, black interior
• Mercedes extended warranty 100,000
• HRE 547 (newly refinished)(Fronts 19 x 8.5 with 235/35/19, Rears 19 x 10with 275 /30/19)
• Hüper Optik tint (all four windows including windshield and sunroof)
• Michelin Pilot Super Sports (new- 800 miles on them)
• Evosport rotors (front & back)
• Lowering links
• K & N filter
• Ipod kit
Certified car bought from WI Simon Mercedes in Santa Monica CA. I bought the car with approximately 12,000 miles. Except for the replacement rotors, they have done all servicing. No accidents, but I recently had the front bumper and spoiler repainted because of road chips. Car is always garaged and the interior is a 9.0 out of 10.

Its an 07 miles are Ok.
The tires are standard maintance nothing extra for that.
Non OEM rotors is a deduct in all books.
Non OEM Wheels Deduct in all books.
2 Owner is a big plus!
Extended warranty is good till what day?
Depending on the how much warranty left and the interior options (Parktronic, Distronic, Rear Shades.....)
I am guessing $42K if you have (4years of warranty) but $37k to $43k. Also depends how fast you want to sell it, and its the middle of winter.

Your right on the money with those figures. Anything other than factory is a negative, to the non-informed. To really get your money's worth, sell to someone interested in AMGs. This is the big issue with modding cars, as you never get your money out of it, unless you sell to another enthusiasts.

Yep Yullie, Before I started modding I looked to see how the market looked at mods for these cars.
Only mods people will pay for are Renntech /Kleeman with documentation even then its a fraction of the price. For these cars ALWAYS keep the OEM parts!
Black Book on my 08 E63 (Black/Black Designo) with 25,XXX miles with all options (Minus P030 and Distronic) $39,000. My car as it sits with Renntech work. Not that I would ever sell it for that

dealers now these days sell cars below kbb price due to how the market is for cars. kbb for 07 with 62xxx and pano is 36,072, so i would say yours is worth about 34k with warranty or about 32k w/o warranty.

If you can buy an 07 E63 with warranty and pano from a dealer for $34k please send me the link. I bet you cant touch one for less than $37k, i understand KBB is a standard but these cars have limited production and the color combo can mean everything. Maybe if his car is Silver with Tan interior it would be closer to your price.

Thank you for all the help. I'm looking to get the details from mercedes on the warranty. Car is a super clean california car. I will probably ask around $38k and see how much activity there is. What do think about which listing services i should use? Cars.com, autotrader, ebay, craigs list?

There are many on cars.com and probably there are some room for negotiation as well and adding warranty will put total price around 34-35k

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
It's your car..you can price it anyway ..
You want. But if you really do want to sell it, (lots of guys here really don't) might better heed the advice here. The reason that these cars are limited production is because there was limited demand to begin with. Add the fact that terms are going to be tougher on a five year old car, the technology is not exactly new,and the competition out there for your dollar.....then you will see how sensitive the market is to pricing on used performance cars. Said it before and I'll Say it again...it's just tougher than it looks. It's a great looking car,but there are not exactly a shortage of them for sale...glws.

Aero is right on the money, that is a $35k max car. Miles kill AMG values no matter how you look at it. That car would do tops, $29000 at auction. You will be lucky to get $35 retail. All the extra mods = nothing.

So once again I ask bring me a CLEAN good looking (Black, White or Silver) E63 with 65K miles and a Full bumper to bumper warranty for $34K.....

Non of those cars come with warranty so add +$5k for whatever warranty you want to add. 1 is the worst color available in Desert Silver (AKA:GOLD)! Thats also the only with a carfax thats a one owner. Also the only one I would consider even looking at but would never buy. I willing to put good money the other two have been in accidents. CLEAN CLEAN E63s with good options bring good money.

If you read closely I said WITH WARRANTY non of these cars have warranty at $36K. Not seeing a clean car fax on any of these cars and I wouldnt touch a car from M&I living in Chicago. You get what you pay for.
I am very over it my car is an 08 with 25k miles and all options as I have stated and black book comes back around $38-$39k
With 4 years of Warranty its a $40k car.
The last car doesnt even have pano at $34,900 without warranty

Your a Clown! You give bad info based on your true lack of knowledge. His warranty is a MB warranty, I would be willing to bet it has less then 2 years left. Go buy the this one, http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false, 10,000 less miles, talk them down a few thou. and then go get a warranty and be under $36. You seem to be the only one on this board that thinks high mileage AMGs are on the upswing.
So lets do the math...
$34K + $1K for Panoroof = $35k + 4years of Warranty at $5k = $40k - $2500 for 2 years of warranty gone = $37,500
$37,500 doesnt equal $34k with Warranty. As thats all I intially said you cant buy an E63 with warranty and 60k miles for $34k.

I know it's painful to see these fantastic 90-100k cars go for low to mid 30s but it's what it's!
We are just trying to help, thats what these cars go for these days and may be you can sell it for your desired price but i think that will take really long time IMO and good luck!

Enjoy your RSX sorry I mean CRV, non of those cars have full options, half are missing parktronic and dont have Pano, and/or have a messy carfax. These cars with all the options are even harder to find especially in the right colors. If you dont care about any of that and If you wanna back your way into a 90K-100K E63 with warranty for $34k I am sure you can. Then dont complain with the headaches later. I am assuming his car is as clean as mine. His price is very fair and might be a hair low. I dont give away money I rather people ask for it. I wouldnt ever sell my car in a hurry to unload it either these cars require the right buyer.

Actually, your wheels look more like some jap super bike. Keep trying though, you will get it sooner or later. They always said money can't buy you class.

While it is somewhat amusing watching grown men act like 2 year olds in here...I will get back to the question at hand.
I have an '07 E63 with about 68k miles, and over the last few months was talking to some dealer friends about the car, and what they would sell it for if they had it. Almost all of them said to ask around $35k, and be happy walking with anything around $32k. Reason? Mileage. Unless you have super low mileage, the values for these cars is just crap. I decided to keep mine and just drive it until the wheels fall off. There is no way I would sell the car for so little when there is nothing else I could buy for that money that would bring me such joy.
In this case it sucks for the seller, but if you are a buyer with $30k - $40k to spend, it is like winning the lottery to be able to get a car like this for the price of a new Honda Accord.

I think a valid point here that everyone's misiing is that any potential buyer is more than likely an enthusiast and will do his/her due diligence (rich people buying new aside)
That due diligence is going to uncover the problems MB is having with the valve train on these engines (DTB Date:January 23, 2009, Order No.:S-B-05.20/20b) and the class action lawsuit against them : Click Here ( discussed in several threads in this forum)
That's got to affect values or even discuorage purchase. And, lets not forget that gas prices are heading to a new high in the spring.
