Disabling brake lights

Well since my E55 thread for topics that dont need their own topics was determined to be off topic... I guess I am back to starting a whole bunch of little threads...

This is going to probably be a touchy subject... Has anyone ever put there brake lights on a switch? flip the switch to the off position and disable the brake lights, flip the switch to on and the lights are active again?

What type of error codes does it throw? And does anyone think they would clear out as soon as the light circuit is complete again?

Couple weeks left to register? Chris sent me the invite a while ago but I'm still figuring out dates. Gonna try to make it happen. What car are you taking?

well if I havent purchased a new car by then... I will prolly rent something for it.

Goal is to be in an E/CLS come March/April, and then spend the month of May getting it ready, including full fluid change, brakes, rotors, SS lines, new fluid, wheels and tires and then a few other mods(if I have time)

It sounds like a good time, tough dates for me though.
The E is a straight line beast. For all the twisties on that route it can get a bit scary.

there are no good reasons for doing it... and doing it by itself is dumb and dangerous

Well I started and closed my own business in 2011. Now I am just looking to get back in to steady income, started the new job search last week, luckily already getting some bites, so I am looking for 2012 to be a positive year!

You get my link on your facebook wall about the rally? you know you want to
