Gearbox Glitch
In dads W211 E55, we were driving in the city in stop start traffic ect....but 3 times this happened, is when your going at least 30km/h and your on the brakes slowing down to a standstill, then the car automatically puts in a loud rev and accelrates momentarily while ur foot is on the brake, so u have to squeeze it harder to fight it...anyone else meet this unusal problem?

On mine the car started doing this coming to a stop and stalled twice. The problem seemed to get progressively worse. Turned out to be a vaccum hose that had come off.

yeh once in a while. i originally thought it was the car moving to 1st gear, the apdaptive driving thing. maybe the car doesnt like stop start traffic
