Which year is the best for the W211 e55?
I would say 2002, because it's the last year of this generation. However, I'd rather hear from the e55 experts.

Not an expert but for the w211 it's 2006 that is the last year and I'd say it's the best. I think the w210's ended in 2002.

They didnt make a 2002 W211!

05 and 06 have all the latest upgrades.

I like my 04 better than my 06 for many reasons. Easy to burnout, better console are just a couple.

Sounds like you might be looking for the W210 forum. 2002 was the last year of the W210 E55 AMG, as adianaty pointed out. The W211 E55 AMG ran from 2003-2006.

IMHO I think 05 and 06 are the nicest all around but the advantage 03 and 04 have is that it's easier to do a burn out

Aka and 07, 08, and 09 have the sexiest front bumper(although it's a 63 not a 55)

Yup...Thats what I did when i swiched out my stock 18for my 19s!...I should have filmed it...that was pretty sick! (even if it did cut power...)
