Unfortunately I will be unable to attend.
My car's transplant will be completed by Friday the latest, but it still needs some break in miles and dyno tuning before I attempt to run her at the strip.
If all goes as planned, I will make it to the next event and hopefully better my PB...

I have to work on Saturday the 18th but I am going to try and get off. I recently bought a 2001 E55. If I make it I would just be a spectator. How much to watch?

You still planning on coming with Andy? Send me your travel info when you get a chance. I think wifey and I will probably try do something with the E/C boys after the dyno day on Friday. Dyno shop is in Laurel area, but I told Jerry to set up camp in Columbia. It's just a bit nicer area. Hopefully we'll be able to hookup. But if you and Andy are staying near MIR, thats over 2 hours from me.....

swapped tires yet? That will be my last step. Trial blasts to 100 felt good today...

 

Naw, I can't drive all the way down there on mismatched wheels and DRs. Usually, Motorkas or Ahmad helps me out by being a pack mule, but I have a buddy with a MazdaSpeed3 coming with me, and he's gonna schlep them down for me.


28* today, and the SL600 was almost a bit too much car for the road. That much powah, and those temps, on 18" all season tires and light coating of road salt, led to a few sphincter pucker moments on my way to Columbia Mall.

Twas fun though.... Effing thing pulls so hard in this weather.

 

Clayton, I told him I wanted to meet up with you, Jerry and the guys and he was down with that. We will be heading back Sat. night so we will need to make Fri. night count.

 

If you guys haven't booked a room yet, ping Jerry and find out where those guys are staying. I told them to stay in Columbia, which isn't exactly close to the track but it's a good area and near the dyno shop. It's an hour from me, but no problem. Lots of retail and restaurants there, and BMore is 15 minutes, if we want to get silly. My wife will prob be with me, but I promise you, there's no worries there. She might bail though, so who knows.

I'm taking the day off on Friday, and I'm gonna hang at the dyno shop to see all the peeps. Just keep me in the loop.

 

I like where your heads at Clayton, all the rookies, take note in planning ahead like this.

I want some records crumbling in various platforms playas. This Saturday is going to be like driving to prom night with a virgin in the panty dropper, you are guarenteed several hours of bliss.

You guys better be posting times as they happen, OTHERWISE.........
