Good Deal?

Many of you know that I been looking for an AMG for a while but haven't found the perfect deal. Running across Craigslist today, I found a salvage theft E55 for $16,500. Is it worth it? I know I will get a PPI if I have a desire to buy it. I think it is a good deal if I can sell my E500 as is for around $12-13k.

Edit: I was going to offer him $15k and see from there. I see the wheels are mismatched so I can plea my case saying I want all 4 wheels to be same.

When the difference between a non salvage clean E55 and a salvage car such as this is a measly 5 grand, no its not worth it..

Here's a high mileage car, but appears to be clean...

It's about an hour away from me, so if the seller is flexible in meeting me and having me take a look at it, sure.....

That is pretty nice Clayton. I will message that seller...If your close to it, would you mind check it out? I am sure you will know how it drives and such. I don't want to drive 200+ miles to be disappointed lol....

agreed, if you don't mind the mileage it looks pretty decent and a great price - obviously want to get it tested though

Messaged the seller. Seems like he is "baller" might just go a lot lower on price......

Marcus, since you down like 5 AMGs...how much was the PPI and anything else I should be aware of?

PPIs are only like 200 bucks. You just have to drive it and get a feeling. No PPI is gonna tell you a air strut is gonna go out in 100 miles.
