My reason for the poll (other than to make most of you laugh) is that owners who've had their E55s for a few years just take it for granted how easy it was to get their cars as CPO, or single owner - now most cars are 3-4 owners deep, and have been passed through auctions, used car lots and who knows what... it's hard to find cars under 60k miles that are this old.
I bought a 1-owner, 2006 E55 with 25,000 miles less than a year ago..... well optioned (see sig) and I got a 4 year / 75,000 mile warranty as well.
The cars are still out there.... though not at the price limit you've probably set for yourself.
Increase your budget, or decrease your expectations....

This sounds like BS....

I bought a one owner with 22k on it, about 8 months ago. All you have to do is have the money. Other wise don't bother and STOP wasting every ones time.

I have one in my sights, and just talked to the owner 5 minutes ago - it's an out of state car for me, so that will pose some fun issues (i.e. how to test drive or shipment)
The owner has no issues with the PPI so that's good, and the car has under 60k miles so will qualify for a better warranty price than higher-mileage E55s, 2nd owner as well..
Tax/Tags & Warranty will most likely add $6-7k to the price (which sucks, but I'm not a wrench when it comes to cars)
so yes, I'm actively looking.

If your serious and have the money to buy, there is a one owner car I saw today. It was an 05 with 38k on the clock. It was black opal with two tone seats. VERY VERY clean! It's not even on there website yet, but it's at MB of Fort Lauderdale. They are asking $39k. I'm sure I can get my guy to come down some. You just have to prove you have the money. It also has color matched staggered 20's.

my search took two months once I had a good feel for what my budget could get I THEN set my expectations on options/owner/history. there is smart buying and then there is tire kicking...dont be a tire kicker.
