broken rear suspension bolt..
I have my car on jack stands for the winter while I save up for new tires and do other small projects.
The car was running in D and the rear rotors were spinning. I tapped on the brake and noticed that the whole left rear suspension knee was twisting a little when the I pressed the brake pedal. I started looking around and found the large bolt that holds the crossmember to the body was broken off and half of the bolt was still in the body. It has had previous owners so its possible someone was messing around under there and over tightened it... but I would think they would have fixed it as its a serious safety issue.
Ever had this happen or heard of it? Im stumped

common problem to break the sub frame bolts. you will have to drill the old bolt out and put a new one. if that doesnot work you will still have to drill the bolt and destroy the nut in the chassis and put a bigger bolt and nut in. in order to do this you will have to cut open the sheet metal in the wheel well to put the nut in.
let me guess it looks like this
