New rears for the E
Not trying to beat a dead pony, but tire technology changes all the time. And yes, I have used "search".
I have a daily driven, mildly modded E55 that I need new rear tires for.
If I can get 2 seasons out of them, great.
I want to be able to hook up when needed, and I don't want to kill the handling of the car.
I am sure there are a million opinions out there, so let's hear em!!!

The PSS's are a good street tire. Considering though that I can't seem to get any street tire to hold the power the 55K puts down I may consider a cheaper set of summer tires next season. The nice thing about the Michelins is that I will have the next set of rears prorated due to the Michelin promise plan. 8K miles and they are toast.

I just put on Hankook Evo f&r...decent price, and great reviews for both wet and dry...so far they are great!...also, very nice handling, ride, and very quite. They have my vote ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

I highly recommend the Hankook Ventus V12's. They are a really nice tire and are much easier on the wallet than most other brands.

Nexxen's suck. Tons of visible tread depth left on my rears. No traction whatsoever.
They are like black rubber turds wrapped around my wheels.

Hankook ventus v12's hook very well. Best straight line traction street tire I've used yet. Recommend to me by speedriven. Much better than the nitto nt05 I had before and those were closer to a race tire than street

check out the Continental ExtremeContact™ DWS not too bad on pricing, and they replaced the ContiExtreme 3

I'm also running these. They handle great, are quiet and stick pretty well but I can still light up the rears at will. Looking to do an LSD next on my car because power without traction is useless.
