Correction programming in STAR DAS

Does anyone have any info regarding the IGNITION & FUEL QUANTITY correction programming and STAR DAS?

Both allow for three options
Ignition Octane (RON) = 89>, 91>, 93>
Fuel quantity = LEAN OUT, SLIGHTLY ENRICH, ENRICH

Currently I think the default option is using the base value. Cheers

I have played with it a little, If I remember correctly, I could only adjust for Ignition octane(in the U.S.) for the E55. (I bumped mine all the way up)

However I do know you could adjust for fuel quantity on other motors like the 111k.

In the uk we have 95, 97 and 99 RON so was not sure how the correction programming translates.

Also for fuel quantity I cant imgaine that you would want to LEAN OUT unless you live in a very cold climate all the time.

thanks

I think if you select the base valve it learns the fuel quality.

is there a way to reset the fuel quality? my car is originally from Florida where the best gas they have is 91 or 92 octane i think. Here we have 94 octane avaliable, i feel that my car is used to the 91 octane. where in DAS do i find the settings of octane?

Ok thanks, sounds like the safest option to select. especially if the 99 RON option is not listed .......which it is not.
