Lmao! On the last pull in red, she went quite lean up top as it seems to be above 13:1 a/f.
I would never dyno the car in 4th as the pull is way to long, heat soak sets in and #8 does not like that.
Next time make sure to dyno in 3rd. You would have been about 10-20rwhp higher too.
Either way, that might be a factory freak like Fasn8n's estate.

Strong beast!
This is just a wideband which was added to the exhaust tip. It is going to read a little leaner in that location. It is also possible that it shifted during the red pull, as your graph looks nearly identical. Good luck with her.

This is exactly what they said. We will see what the Kleemann tune does with the headers and pulley.

So I dont get it. Your saying MB made a car that in stock form has a chance of blowing up. So any stock E55 that does a WOT run in 4th gear is at risk. My car is stock. I am not arguing with you because the guys at IPS thought it got a little to lean as well. It just dosn't seem right.

I wouldn't be surprised if that dyno was done in 20-40F temps, when coupled with a tailpipe sniffer may explain why the stock tune is a bit on the lean side.
Through datalogging I notice almost a half point difference going from 30F to 50F ambient.
Looks stout Marcus! Can't wait to see how it pulls at Timmayfest.

Yeah, I would not sweat it Marcus, she is a healthy beast and you are getting one of the best pulleys and tunes available, so that lean area will go away.
Just as an example, when the 03 cobra (terminators) came out in 02, there were alot of guys doing WOT blast in 5th gear and blowing a stock car with a forged bottom end.
Well, what was happening is the same thing, the new owners did not know that was too long of a pull, and it melted the piston. I forget which one is was, but it was the same numbered piston in most of the blown motors.
So soon after, it was known to never do a WOT in 5th, even to this day as doom is just around the corner, even with the heavy aftermarket cooling that is available.
None, the less, like I said, I would not sweat it. I wish you hit the pull in 3rd, as you might have received the highest dyno numbers I have ever seen in stock form

Just spoke to Kleemann, they stated the fuel air looks fine. The issue is, since it was done in 4th gear and it hit the top speed limiter it cut the power. The other issue is, when you do back to back to back runs against the rev limiter, the car learns that and starts to prepare for it which shows on the last run.
They think, had the car been done in third or had it not bumped the limiter, the car would have pulled another 10 ro 15hp. So they liked the dyno and said it looked strong. My ECU will be back tomorrow so stand by for the after dyno.

Nice numbers. I got my headers installed Monday and pulley a few weeks ago. Waiting for ec heat exchanger and then will get the car tuned. Staying under 3500 rpms until it gets tuned.
