is it normal for the car to short shift in s mode?
I got on it last night a little trying my newish boost pulley and never really noticed this until last night.

My car in s2 with the TC off would spin for a second and then shift on its own to 3rd.

I did it back to back in this video and never really noticed before.

I had similar problems in 1st and was told it's due to lack of traction. Notice that your triangle is blinking before the shifts.

Mine short shifts alot under normal driving conditions in S mode, if that helps Angelo

in the second atempt I try to lay a patch down and kept it floored in second gear and you can hear the car bog bog and then it shifts to 3rd gear on its own.

I cant wait for a tuner to be able to shut the darn TC completely off in these cars.

sorta un(related) Q: can I "GET" the tcu to short shift in C? even at lower RPMs?

Totally normal.

Just run it in dyno mode.

Don't forget to wear a diaper.
