Someone needs to put that code as I sticky, that can save a pretty penny... Plus the free shipping codes saved me 6.99 x2

Those codes are awesome.. I will be ordering K&Ns shortly, as well as plugs when I need them.. When do you suggest plugs and wires are replaced?? I only have 54k on it now..

8 years on original wires and plugs.I would change them out

Agree on the plugs; if the wires still measure the correct resistance, it's would be a complete waste of money to replace them. Simple ohm meter will give you the answers you need, but generally speaking, it's rare for plug wires to go bad.

I'm curious to know how to test them is there a DIY with correct ohm to know if it's good or not... Will also do google search but typing this via phone... Will wait till I'm home and on computer

When i did colder plugs last year i kept my stock wires and everything was fine.a few weeks ago i did oem plugs with new wires and was suprised how tight and snug the new wires snapped into the plug.
If your going to bust your back for an hour prolly 2 hours on your first time i would do the wires since you take them off and would do the work again down the road.
You can find oem bosch set for under 200 online and its worth the piece of mind to just do them at the same time.
