Most people use NGKs, I believe. After waiting that long, that's another few days?

Although not always as sharp as we’d like, AMG engineers specify NGK plugs as OE fitment in several models.

Don’t get me started on MB’s problematic Bosch selections.

the oem plug is the ngk 3588 ILFR6A

I found the best way to get these for dirt cheap but idont know if it still works.

I found a 30 dollar off coupon code for advanced auto for orders over 70 and if the total after the coupon was over 75 you got free shipping so I got like 9 plugs on one order and then 8 plus a spark plug swivle on the other order and saved 60 bucks and got free shipping.

the code was big30 if you want to try that out.

I wonder how many clowns actually bite for that price? Bet about the only time they get it is if someone drops a car off for a tune up/Service ABCLMNOP or whatever letter calls for new plugs.

Anyone that's ever worked on a car is gonna laugh in their face. lol

$560 plus tax for just plugs.

I got quoted 1400 for plugs and wires at my dealership.

I got the oem ones for like 170 and found the oem wires for just under 180 and did the work myself

Advances website is saying the NGK 3588 does not fit my 03 E55 AMG?

"No, this part does not fit your 2003 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG."

Stuff like this is why so many people are afraid of these cars used. If you can't do a lot of the work yourself your in some serious financial trouble. If you can do the work you get an amazing car for not to much money. It's a mechanics dream car in my opinion.

that is the correct oem plug and the ones with the MB logo on them are those also.

put in 2005 e55 and see what it says, there computer might not be updated right.

if you call the dealer the oem plug is the 3588 and is the most expensive ngk plug they make lol

I raped advanced auto a few months ago with buying stuff for the beast.

I did 4 seperate orders and saves 30 and free shipping on all. They got rid of the free shipping on orders over 70 now but they might still have it once you go to check out.

Yeah someone just put in the wrong listing for 03's. 04-06 shows that its correct. Not uncommon on these parts store computers.

I looked on amazon and the 3588 plugs are in stock at 2 stores. One place had 2 in stock, the other place had 3 in stock.

do what I did and rape them lol

get the K&N filters and save 30 on those, get the little swivle spark plug tool because number 8 cylinder is a biatch to get to if you dont have that tool and order up a s/c belt and acc belt

I got the wires from amazon and was the last box that actually have bosch on it with the oem wires. The wires on advanced are not oem and are more expensive
