Sorry, did not mean to bring back an old threat. But, last 3 days it actually rained in the hot southwest desert and rained pretty hard. As far as I coud tell, there was no negative impact on the car or how its running. The filter did seem a little damp but when I put my hands over the filter I could still feel the air being heavily sucked through it.

they're oil-soaked cotton... its the moisture that attracts the dirt to do the filtering in the first place.... am i wrong?

and wouldn't the "heavy rain" idea be impactful weather the filter sucked it up right there in front of the radiator or the stock setup was huffing in air from the inlets in the same spot???

looks like an awesome setup!

I love the DEI reflective tape. It would be a better idea to ceramic coat everything before using the reflecting tape but still good.

You should think about cooling down those intake tubes. Those things will get hot fairly quickly. Plus, an airbox for the filters might help reflect the heat from the engine bay.

Nice setup though.

How does does this compare to the Needswings CAI??? I just put on e on my car and noticed not only a power difference, but sound (whine) difference as well in the supercharger....
