Reduced Power
Im feeling depressed right now, HELP me... So I just picked up my car and it is so amazingly nice but when they did the inspection they found one problem and im wondering if its the root to my problem. Apparently the there is a leak in transmission. The part was ordered but when i drive it feels like it has 50% power half the time. Sometimes it pulls hard, and most the time it feels like a loud AMG with 150 HP... Let me know. I appreciate it.

Do you live an a warm climate?
I heat soaked my car last summer and got the symptoms you describe. I would mash the throttle from a dead stop and the 20-year old minivan in the other lane pulled me by about 3 car lengths!![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
One the car cooled completely, the power returned. The IC pump isn't an all-or-nothing failure either....as it starts failing the car will run OK when it's cold but will fall on its face when it's hot. From what I've read...even when cold its still not producing 100% of the power either.
Guys who replaced the IC pump said the difference felt like getting a "tune" on the car.... It was THAT obvious.

You will actually crap you pants at the difference a new pump makes in power! I am a little dissapointed that in all your pre searching that you did not discover that is the most prevelant issue with these cars! Also the cheapest to fix!![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
My CLS55 was fast but after 3 pulls it was dead. Took it in got the new pump and it was absolutly amazing. It was faster then before it went dead even on the first pull. My mechanic said the car know and starts to shut down power even before totally shutting down SC.

Intercooler Pump has been a common problem with Supercharged AMGs dating back to the C32/SLK32. Why would you think it would throw a code? It will cost you more to scan it with STAR than to fix the problem
