Best Price on MBH Headers Ever

With steel pricing heading way up (20- 25%) according to the steel yard we use. I'm actually able to offer the best price on E55, CLS55, C55, CLK55 As I was able to place my order for plate steel and tubing before the crazy increase of steel prices. I've said it before; when I make deals with my suppliers I always pass the saving on to the end user. So for a limited time, until my steel supply is exhausted. I can offer the lowest price ever on a set of stainless steel headers given. This deal is for normal MBworld members only.

Sale price is $2350

All header are made to order here in the USA using only the best materials. Each header system comes with a lifetime warranty along with our 40whp or more power guarantee on 55k AMG's.

Dang, that's $150 cheaper than the group buy price!

If anyone was on the fence about these before, you'd be silly to pass this deal up.

I know, The steel yard was telling me that prices where heading way up a few weeks ago, but they had more steel tubing there than I'd ever seen in the yard. SO I just bought a bunch of it. More then what I would normally buy. I always try to pass the savings

Here's a highway vid I made of the MBH headers and mid-section. This is the catless system with stock resonator and mufflers. Cruising below 80mph it sounds exactly like stock. Sound is proportional to amount of foot on gas pedal.

http://youtu.be/3ESJ6ZbJx3A

Video goes from quiet cruising, to 3rd gear and roughly half throttle, to WOT in 2nd gear. Then a little 1st-2nd gear action capped off with a couple of revs in a parking garage.

How thick is the flange at the heads and what grade stainless is used? Same stainless grade for the entire assembly?

Mike,

Is there going to be special pricing for the mid-pipe kit as well? Thanks!

I'm guessing this is for the header and test pipe only. Rest will be additional $$$. Good deal, but i got a better deal on the set i got. If you guys havent purchased any headers yet, these are a nice set to get. Very nicely done, great welds, and sound stock until you mash the gas.

That was with fuel rail and injectors installed, but on the drive up to get those items installed, I did hit 24mpg. I was really trying hard to hypermile it and didn't go over 75. I can say I definitely saw an increase in fuel economy with this exhaust as I was never able to break that 20mpg barrier before.

After header/pulley/tune, i see 18.6mpg to/from work 6 miles away. Alot better on the highway, over 20mpg. But if i get on it, then it drops to 14.5mpg:-)

Before mods, 16 mpg/tune only.

So better MPG because of Fuel rail and injectors or Header ??

I hear the readout may not be accurate with different rail and injectors and I keep forgetting to do it the old fashioned way. I don't imagine it would be much worse than stock. If I can do a full tank on the highway, I'll do the math for sure.

Its my understanding the larger injectors give a false positive on MGP readings on your dash. My C55 with an AMG supercharger got 28mpg or something crazy like that when I swapped for bigger injectors. In reality I was getting more like 10mpg. Its a calibration issue with the dash. So you dont actually get better gas mileage. In my case, I got worse gas mileage than stock even though my dash was saying I was getting much better then stock.

Is it possible to fit the E55 headers to a r/h/drive without modification?
